Happy Veteran's Day!! We all took the time today to teach our gradschool kids what Veteran's day was about - thanking all of those who served our country and helped to make it what is it today. We did our best to make sure they understood the sacrifices that were made by Veteran's and their families and they wanted to send a big THANK YOU to all!!

Look Who Lost The Bet!!! Aug 04, 2011 Soooo, Mr Eddie bet our cheerleaders that if they came in 1st place he would wear one of their tutu's ALL DAY LONG!!! And our girls collected on their bet and made him an honorary cheerleader!! What a good sport!! 
When Your Child Comes Home Messy Jul 22, 2011 Red paint in the hair? Blue paint on the jeans? Sand in the shoes?

Are concerned that the caregiver isn't paying enough attention to your child

Was aware of your child's needs and interests
Spent time planning a challenging activity for the children
Encouraged the children to try new things
Put smocks on the children
Was worried that you might be concerned
*Try to remember your favorite activity when you were four years old.
Was it outdoor play with water, mud, dress up clothes, with friends?
Was it something neat and tidy? Chances are, probably not!
Young children really learn when they are actively involved in play,
not when someone is talking to them. There is a difference between
"messy" and "lack of care". The caregiver made sure your child was
fed, warm, took a nap, washed hands after toileting and before eating, and
also planned messy fun things to do because that's how young
children learn!
When you send your child to Preschool, please send him or her in clothes that can get dirty! Keep extra old clothes at school for times when the child gets wet or really messy.
If you need to take the child out, bring the dress up clothes and
allow time to change. Keep calm. Remember in a few years, teenagers will
use your shampoo, mirrors, and most of your towels to be clean. But
young children need time to be kids.
And as always, if you have concerns, talk to us!! We will do everything we can to help!!
Summer in full swing Jul 08, 2011 The Summer is in full swing people. We've already gone on some amazing field trips. For example the Madera Fossil Center was great. The kids learned all about prehistoric creature that roamed the valley once upon a time. Laser Quest is always a blast. The kids love to come up with their nicknames and so who can outscore who. The kids also have decorated their own cupcakes with Caroline, a local cake decorator. We painted ceramics and have gone to a BMX Show. And if were not on a field trip the kids are enjoying the pool or having water play. So far we have had a rocking summer with plenty more fun activities planned for the kids.
Miss Karen in style May 26, 2011 Our awesome gradeschool head teacher Mrs. Karen got an upgrade in chairs this morning. Even though she can sit comfortably, she is still hard at work signing our kids in from school.  
Summer is coming! May 11, 2011 Hello friends, as we wind down the dog days of school we can not help but ponder "when can we go swimming"! Yes, school is almost out for the summer and we here at Kingdom are getting ready for a rocking summer full of field trips and of course THE POOL. As the weather has changed, the kids already want to know when they can swim? If you have any questions please see Adriana, Michael or Karen.
Asian Dancing with Mrs. Barbara Jan 26, 2011 Thanks to Mrs. Barbara for dancing for us today. It's Asian Culture week and we are learning about a different culture than some of us are used to. We have been learning how to use chopsticks and eating rice. As well as many other activities to teach us about the Asian Culture. Another HUGE thanks to Mrs. Barbara!!!!!!!
Creative Kids... 
Dec 23, 2010 Our GS and kindergartners have had so much fun this week on winter break!! They are all very excited for the upcoming holidays and are enjoying their down time. But even during this time, their creative juices are still flowing. Look at the great things they have done with the magnet tiles we have... Plus, Mr Danny helped with origami reindeer!! Too cute!! What a great way to enjoy the rainy weather and get in the holiday spirit!!
A very special toys for tots Dec 22, 2010 A very special thank you to Ethan and Emma Pricolo for donating this bicycle to Toys For Tots. We would also like to thank all the parents that donated toys, canned food, and clothing for those who are less fortunate this holiday season. Happy Holiday's from the Kiddie Kingdom family.
Food and Coat Drive Success Dec 17, 2010 Thanks to all our kids and our parents who helped us collect canned food and coats for our collection drive!! We had a wonderful turn out... 4 huge garbage bags of coats and an amazing 9 large boxes of food!! All your donations will definitely help to make the holidays a little bit brighter for those that are having hard times and what a great lesson for our kids on the joy of sharing and helping others. Thanks again for all your help!!
Cookie Party Dec 17, 2010 
Today our preschoolers had a Christmas Cookie Party. Thanks to our parents who provided all the cookies for the kids to enjoy. We had a really good time this morning eating cookies and drinking apple juice.

Thanksgiving is around the corner Nov 05, 2010 Hey guys, can you believe that Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The costumes have been put away and Turkey time is upon us. Our kids will be learning about Autumn, Native Americans, Pilgrams, and the feast of Thanksgiving. We will be having our own Thanksgiving with our kids at the end of month Our grade schoolers are working hard in school but can't wait for the break. No homework and were going to the movies.

We got a new bike!!! Sep 09, 2010 It was a big day!! Not only did we have all our lovely Grandmas and Grandpas here with us, but we also got a brand new bike!! The kids lined up outside to wait for a turn!! It was very popular!! And don't worry, Michael tried it first to make sure it was safe!! LOL!!

Back to School is HERE!!! Aug 19, 2010 Where did the summer go? It seems like just yesterday we were gearing up for our Summer Blast and now its time for back to school!!! I must say this summer was fun and was one for the record books! We are sooo thrilled to have had a great bunch of kids help us enjoy the summer and are looking forward to all the exciting things to come during this school year! The first week back for Fresno was a a great success and are expecting another great week for our Clovis kids!! Welcome back to school!!

Back to School is right around the corner.... Jul 29, 2010 What a week!!! We started off with a trip to the movies.. and today was U Paint Ceramics, which our Pre-K kids were able to participate in on the "Big Kids Side"!!! They had such a wonderful time being creative with their art work. We also have been busily practicing for our annual Cheer Competition and our girls look fantastic!!! It has been an amazing summer and now it is time to begin thinking about Back to School... I can't believe it is basically August!! Where did the summer go???

What a Delicious Day!! Jul 06, 2010 Today was cake decorating day!!! It was delicious watching 95 kids paint their cakes and themselves with bright colors of frosting!! We have some very creative kids and they loved the activity! I would definitely recommend baking with them at home... just make sure to cover the kitchen in plastic first!!
Happy July 4th Jul 02, 2010 As summer is in full swing and with Independence Day upon us. We here at Kiddie Kingdom wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July. Our gradeschoolers had a blast today at the ice rink. They all got hot chocolate and cookies. Our preschoolers have been enjoying waterplay all week and learning about the 4th of July. Currently we are in the midst of getting new woodchips out in are yard which will be a welcomed addition. Hope everyone stays safe and enjoy the weekend. Happy 4th of July!!!!!
So Very Proud... Jun 22, 2010 I just have to say that our PS graduation was wonderful!! I am so very proud of all our kids. They practiced sooo very hard and all that hard work paid off today. I am so excited for them and their smiling little faces!! And to our wonderful parents, thank you for all your praises after our ceremony. I love my job because I get to see all your beautiful kids everyday... and wonderful days like today really remind me just how lucky I am. Thank you all for that opportunity!!

Officially Summer!! Jun 15, 2010 No more teachers, no more books.... You all know how that one ends!! Summer fun has officially started at Kiddie Kingdom and it has been a blast so far! We started swim testing on GS side and waterplay for our PS kids! Our GS kids are really enjoying some well deserved down time with their friends. Plus, our soon to be Kindergartners have been working very hard at graduation practice... only 1 week to go!! They are all doing a wonderful job and are so very cute!! Can't Wait for Summer!! Jun 08, 2010 All our kids are soooo very excited... it is finally the last week of school!! If you ask our kids what they are most excited about, the response would be a thundering "NO MORE HOMEWORK!!" We have lots of fun to come this summer!! We have so many fun things planned to keep your children entertained through the hot summer months!! It is gonna to be a really fun summer!! Can't wait to get the party started!! Only 3 days to go until Summer Blast!!!
